Coates, Anne   (fl. 1970s-2000s)

married as Anne Rick  

She managed the herbarium at Kings Park from 1977 to 1980 and identified voucher collections made by the seed collector Herbert Demarz.

She also managed the wildflower displays at the annual Kings Park wildflower festival and volunteered to take guided tours in Kings Park on weekends.

She also had a role role coordinating the Newdegate Rare Flora Group.

In later life, as Anne Rick, she became a private 'Consultant Botanist' authoring a rage of publications and reports such as:

"Survey and Analysis of Plant Communities Growing on Gypsum in the WA Wheatbelt" by Anne Rick (2011) which includes quadrat data collected on gypsiferous soils in the Lake King, Lake Magenta and Lake Grace salt lake systems.
