- An exhibition telling the stories of the Gardens history from conception since 1930.
Sex And Death, An Orchids Life – Exhibition 1 October–1 February
- Orchid exhibition and display in the display glasshouse
- Stunning display of orchids and carnivorous plants
- The seduction of insects by plants and their unwitting co-corporation
- The cruel deception leading to inevitable death are played out using rare and unusual orchids and sinister carnivorous plants
Garden Party – Sunday 24 October – 10am–4pm
- Main stage Music and entertainment from 10 – 4pm
- Children activities from 10am – 4pm
- Botanic Fashion Parades
- The Friends of the Garden cake cutting to at 11am
- High Tea party in the Eucalypts Lawn
- Continuous garden bus shuttles/tours

- A special exhibition exploring the evolutionary relationship between wattles.
- 100 wattles, showing the family tree of this Australian Wattles
- Highlighting the incredible way leaf forms and sizes has changed as wattles evolved in different parts of the country.
